The Main Character
Sticky Date Pudding
I think the best foods are homemade, and this is no exception. It’s a beautiful mix between a sweetbread and a cake. The taste makes me think of fall. Some recipes have orange zest in it which adds a great flavor to the mix. Topped with the butterscotch sauce and paired with ice cream, it is the most divine dessert.

The Comfort Pick
Creme Brulee Donut
This is a cream filled donut that even my husband (who doesn’t even like cream filled donuts) liked. Its dough is light and fluffy. The cream is sweet and not overbearing. The crystallized sugar on top is satisfyingly crunchy. Everything about it is delicious. Plus, I got to see how they make it, which is a bonus.

Bacon & Egg Quiche
I stopped here thinking it would be just another cafe, but this quiche quickly became something I craved. The flavor was fantastic, the consistency was great, and the veggies and meat in it made it delicious. It was served with salsa as well which enhanced the flavors.

The Wildcard Favorite
Pistachio Croissant
The pistachio croissant was the most wonderful surprise to me. I thought it would be a savory experience, but it was sweet and very delicious. The cream on the inside is very smooth and rich. The drizzled icing on the top makes it look beautiful. This is a wonderful pastry you can’t go wrong with.

Banana Bread
As far as banana breads go, this one was quite wonderful. It has nuts in it, so for those who do not like nuts in banana bread, this would not be the place for you. The consistency was perfect–firm enough to hold its shape, and moist (I know it’s a weird word, but it’s an important one). Great banana bread.

Almond Croissant
This almond croissant was perfectly light and fluffy in a way I think croissants should be. The powdered sugar on the top added just enough sweetness to satisfy. It is a pretty large croissant, so it would be great for sharing.
